New Urbanist Media is a continuing education resource center that streams videos from conference lectures, tours, documentaries and other educational programs around the world.

New Urbanist Media courses will not only help fulfill the Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Requirements mandated by state licensing boards of registration, and professional associations for architects and planners, we also bring to our viewers – students, land use administrators, citizen activists - urgent information about Smart Growth, New Urbanism and Sustainable Communities.

Our Mission

To provide high quality online educational programs that will help fulfill the Continuing Professional Competency (CPC) requirements mandated by many state boards of registration for professional architects, city planners and landscape architects. To offer our courses to educate students of new urbanism in the academic world as well as the general public.

Our Commitments

As a continuing education provider, New Urbanist Media conducts its business according to the continuing education unit (CEU) guidelines published by American Institute of Architects (AIA). We maintain records of all online activities for at least seven (7) years. Our records include the name of the attendee who satisfactorily completed the course, the type of activity claimed, date of the activity, the instructor's name, the sponsoring organization, and the credits earned.
